Libra truths, Aries fire, and the courage to begin again.

Recap from Libra Full Moon Circle

At our Libra Full Moon Inner Circle, we gathered around the practice of honest balance. Not perfect or performative balance or the kind that looks graceful on the outside while quietly asking us to abandon ourselves underneath it but honest balance. The kind that asks:
-What am I carrying that is no longer mine to hold?
-Where have I abandoned myself to keep the peace?
-What truth is asking to be witnessed now?
-What would it feel like to return to my own center with love?

That was the heart of our circle.

We talked about relationship, not just with other people, but with ourselves.
The relationship between giving and receiving.
The relationship between beauty and truth.
The relationship between keeping the peace and telling the truth.
The relationship between being needed and actually being well.

This Libra Full Moon brought so much into the light.

It showed us where something may have looked balanced on the surface but was no longer truly reciprocal underneath.
It invited us to notice where we have been overgiving, overholding, overfunctioning, overexplaining, or trying to maintain harmony at the expense of our own inner steadiness.

And in our live, we named something important:

-Sometimes imbalance does not look dramatic.
-Sometimes it looks like saying yes when your body means no.
-Sometimes it looks like staying available when you are depleted.
-Sometimes it looks like endlessly trying to be more understandable so you can finally be received.
-Sometimes it looks like keeping the peace at the expense of your own peace.

And sometimes what needs to be released is not just a person or a pattern.
Sometimes it is the role, survival strategy, and an identity you learned to wear in order to stay safe, lovable, manageable, or needed.

That my friends is sacred and tender work and it does not ask to be rushed.

Now the energy is shifting, April 16th is carrying threshold energy.

This is a day that may feel tender, deep, intuitive, and quietly activating all at once. The sky is stirring themes around healing, truth, movement, and spiritual listening.

Sun conjunct Chiron can bring old identity pain to the surface, especially around self-trust, courage, and the places where being fully yourself has not always felt safe but it can also open the door to healing through honesty.

Mars sextile Pluto brings strength and movement. This is the kind of energy that helps us reclaim our power, make a real decision, cut energetic cords, and move what has felt stuck.

Mercury conjunct Neptune softens the edges and opens the intuitive channels. This is beautiful energy for journaling, card pulls, meditation, prayer, visioning, and listening beneath the surface noise. This is less about forcing clarity and more about letting clarity rise.

So if the Libra Full Moon asked, What is out of balance? April 16th asks:
-What deeper truth is rising underneath that imbalance?
-What is ready to be named?
-What is ready to heal?
-What is ready to move?

And then we arrive at the Aries New Moon.

This moon brings beginning, courage, and honest first-step energy.

Aries is the spark and instinct energy. The fire that says something in me is ready to move. But I want to say this gently. Working with the Aries New Moon does not mean rushing or blowing your life up just because the fire is there.
Please do not confuse urgency with alignment.

This moon is not asking for dramatic performance. It is asking for honest initiation. One true beginning, one brave choice, and one self-honoring step.

The gift of Aries is courage, movement, and finally telling the truth about what is no longer working. Its shadow can be reactivity, impulsiveness, and moving before the body and soul are in agreement.

So as you work with this moon, begin with honesty.

-What feels finished?
-What have you outgrown?
-What part of you is tired of performing, minimizing, waiting, or making yourself smaller to keep the peace?

Then move toward desire.

-What wants to begin?
-What wants your courage?
-What part of your life is asking for a cleaner, truer, more aligned first step?

A few gentle ways to work with this Aries New Moon:

-Light a candle and name what you are ready to begin.

-Journal on this question:
What am I no longer willing to abandon in myself?

-Pull cards around courage, direction, and the next right step.

-Move your body- walk, stretch, shake energy loose, and allow your body participate in the beginning.

-Write 1-3 clear intentions in present tense. (never more than three and please don't overthink these)

-Choose one action you can take in the next seven days that honors the life you are saying yes to.

This moment truly feels like a bridge.

Libra showed us where we were out of balance. April 16th helps us feel the deeper truth underneath it.
Aries asks what we are going to do with that truth now. So as we move into this next moon, you do not need to force the whole future into focus. You only need enough honesty to feel what is ending, presence to hear what is beginning, and enough courage to take the next aligned step.

Remember friends, you are allowed to soften, be honest, and begin again.
